  1. When so many apps are free, Digit is taking a real gamble springing that $2.99 on its members. I’m glad you found Tip Yourself to be a good alternative. I hear good things about it.

What about Dobot? Financial Panther also ditched Digit because of the fee and switched to Dobot.

    1. Yes, Digit is making a risky move with the fee. Thank you Mrs. Groovy, for mentioning Dobot. I haven’t looked into it. I am heading over to FP’s blog to learn more.

  2. I thought about signing up for Digit but never got around to it. It definitely doesn’t seem like a service worth $2.99 a month to me. I do wonder if they’ll receive some backlash and people abandon it in masses. Looking forward to following Digit from here 🙂

    1. Digit works great, I really liked it. However, it is definitely not worth $2.99 per month, at least for my use case. That is an interesting thing, I also wonder – ‘m curious to know what kind of a backlash Digit experiences. We will have to wait and see 🙂

      1. Hi Michael! I am definietely with you on this the 2.99 is definitely not worth it I have being trying to close my account with them as well. Time has not being the best. I am heading to them right now while we are on the subject. That was my first impression when I saw the change was going to take place.

  3. Good decision! Definitely you used it until you learned something, now you are mature enough to manage without. Worse case scenario if you feel necessary you can come back.

  4. Hi Michael,

  5. Hello! I tried digit out for myself recently but decided to close my account because I found a new app called Qapital to be more interactive and free to use. I logged onto my regular bank account though recently and it says there’s a a few rather large “pending transactions” to be made from Digit still. What I’m wondering is if I made a mistake not hitting withdrawal before closing my account with Digit. I plan on calling the bank tomorrow, however I’m worried that Digit won’t refund me the money I put into it for my goal savings on the app. Would love to hear your thoughts on my issue. Thank you! Sincerely, Claire G.
